As Director of Social for The Game Day, I lead our social team to build the voice and community of the company through content strategy, programming and brand development. How can we make sports betting accessible and digestible to the every day person? We've done this by casting a large net of content across the digital landscape, grasping the general sports audience and bringing them down the funnel to become everyday consumers.
Accomplishments:

Boosted The Game Day’s monthly impressions rate from 900K to 369M, monthly engagement from 6K to 19.8M, and overall following from 400 to 4 million.

Grew The Game Day's to accounts to 10 verticals.

Directed major social campaigns around NFL/NBA Draft, NFL season launch, NBA Finals, and other tentpole events that led to all-time high KPIs.

Developed web traffic strategies to transform social engagement into web traffic, affiliate conversion and ad revenue.

Orchestrated content and programming strategy around brand deals with Draftkings, Manscaped, Betfred Sportsbook, Thrive Fantasy, Monkey Knife Fight, BetMGM and Trustly; overdelivering on the KPI agreements.
Lead content ideation and coverage across major games and events, working with the design team to create the graphics, and the social team to program the content optimally across the relevant vertical. Always aiming to be unique in voice, we look for ways to create content and push information that is easily digestible, especially in a field that can be hard to understand like sports betting.
Lead social strategist and programmer across our TikTok accounts. Drove our TikTok growth from 0 to a collective 200k+ followers, learning the best ways to transform engaging content into repeatable formats that lead to follower growth, customer retention and brand recognition.
Major Event Content/Campaign Lead
NFL Draft
Directed content strategy for all NFL Draft coverage including on-site and remote video production as well as digital programming, leading to our biggest week in company history where we totaled 24 Million network impressions, 5 million video views, and our first 1 million engagement week. Other events led: NBA Draft, Super Bowl, NFL Free Agency, Olympics.
Branded Content Lead
Directed social branded content strategy and design through sponsored social posts as well as product placement and ad reads in video or podcast productions.
Web Driving Content
Drove ideation and integration of social content with the intention of driving to web, ultimately delivering greater web traffic, affiliate conversion, and ad revenue.
